Authentic '50s Tele Tone
Seymour Duncan's Antiquity Tele '55 single-coil neck pickup is an incredibly authentic re-creation of the iconic pickups found in the original Teles from the 1950s. The Antiquity Tele '55s are constructed from period-correct materials such as hand-ground Alnico V magnets, push-back cloth wire, and lamp black paraffin wax. These all come together, imbuing the pickup with a warm low end and a sweet, rounded top end that is never harsh. Pair the Antiquity Tele '55 neck and bridge pickups from Sweetwater and your Tele will sound like a vintage treasure.
Seymour Duncan Antiquity ™ P-90 'Soapbar,' Black Imagine the pickups out of an old '52 gold top or a '59 ES-330. By removing the cover of the Antiquity P-90 Soapbar you'll find the same hand-fabricated bobbins, wire and 'flatback' tape that was used in the originals. The Seymour Duncan Antiquity for Tele recreates the beauty of an early '50s lead. All parts of the pickup are aged and given the look of a pickup played for 40.
